If you want to see a green eye shadow look check out my Halloween Green Cat's Eye Look. Green eye shadow can look a bit wrong with blue eyes and over the top for work, so here's my toned down St. Patrick's Day look with only a flash of green, well teal, which goes better with blue eyes.
I used No7 Stay Perfect Eyeliner in Jewel on the top lid and Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in Electric on my lower waterline. I don't know what's wrong with mine but the pencil is incredibly hard and I had to tug my eyes into submission to get the colour to show up. If I were to do it again I'd use Rimmel Exaggerate Waterproof Eye Definer in Emerald Sparkle.
You can just do a streak of green like above, but I decided to wing Jewel out over my black flick for a more striking effect.
For the shadows I used the UD Naked Palette: Toasted all over lid, Hustle on outer corner and crease and a swipe of Sidecar over the lot with more in the inner corner.
Kiss me, I'm Irish!
My mum is insisting on being as Irish as possible, so I have to take her to the Empire Cinema in Leicester Sq. to watch 'Lord of the Dance 3D', as if seeing it and Riverdance live when I was a teen were not enough! If it gets too much I can always nip around the corner to Waxy O'Connors for a cider and check out hot Irish men :)
Have you any plans?
Your skin looks so fresh and perfect, I'm totally jealous!
ReplyDeleteLove the liner, I'm actually wearing something similar today that I did with UD Jinx from BOS2

i know what you mean about blue eyes and green eyeshadow. Ive got pale skin too, so its so unbearable to even try and attempt. Thats why i generally tend to stick to browns and neutrals. The look youve done looks lovely though. Definitely not OTT.
ReplyDeleteHope youve had a good st paddys day! :) x
I happened upon your blog and I love the cat's eye look on you! so classy with a vibrant twist (plus I'm obsessed with urban decay eyeliner). I'm following your blog now :)
